Shipping Policy

Hindustan Industries (“we” and “us”) is the operator of (https://www.hindustanindustries.org/) (“Website”). You, as a user of the website, agree to follow the below terms. These are provided to ensure both parties are aware of and agree upon this arrangement to mutually protect and set expectations on our service.

  1. General

Subject to stock availability. We try our best to maintain accurate records of stock counts digitally but due to some unforeseen events, the stock discrepancy may happen and we will not be able to provide all your items at the time of purchase.

In this case, we will provide the available products to you, and confirm to you whether you should prefer to await restocking of the backordered item or you should process a refund.

  1. Shipping Costs

Shipping cost i.e the transportation cost of the items is calculated during the checkout on the basis of the weight of the item and the location of its delivery. The shipping cost of the item will be added to the purchase price of the item and the final price which the consumer has to pay will be inclusive of that cost (shipping cost).

  1. Returns

3.1 Return Due To Change Of Mind

Hindustan Industries will happily accept returns due to a change of mind as long as a request to return is received by us within 7 days of receipt of the item. The product when received by the company should be unused, in resellable condition, and in its original packing. 

The customer has to pay the expense for the return shipping and will have to arrange for the shipping by themselves.

The refunds will be saved as credits with Hindustan Industries for any further purchase only after the return is received and accepted. Once the return is accepted, we will notify the customer through email.

Hindustan Industries will refund the value of the goods returned but will NOT refund the value of any shipping paid.

3.2 Warranty Returns

Hindustan Industries will happily honor any valid warranty claims, provided a claim is submitted within 90 days of receipt of items.

The return shipping will initially be prepaid by the customer. However, once the product is received, Hindustan Industries will reimburse the shipping charges. 

Upon return receipt of items for a warranty claim, you can expect Hindustan Industries to process your warranty claim within 7 days.

After the confirmation of warranty claim, you will get an option to-

(a) refund to your payment method

(b) a refund in-store credit

(c) in case of availability of stock, the replacement item sent to you 

  1. Delivery Terms

4.1 Transit Time Domestically

Generally, the domestic shipments are in transit for 3 – 8 days

4.2 Transit time Internationally

Generally, international orders are in transit for 4 – 22 days. The transit period completely depends on the courier service you select. Hindustan Industries is not answerable for the duration of transit. A more accurate estimate will be provided when you are choosing your courier at the checkout.

4.3 Change Of Delivery Address

Orders placed before 04 PM – AEST (UTC+10) will be dispatched the same day, otherwise, within the next business day.

The working hours of our warehouse are the normal business hours from Monday to Friday, except on national holidays on which it will be closed. We provide timely deliveries and try to minimize shipment delays, but some delays may happen in case of unavoidable uncertainties.

4.4 Change Of Delivery Address

The change in delivery address request will be accepted any time before the order has been dispatched.

4.5 P.O. Box Shipping

Hindustan Industries will ship to P.O. box addresses using postal services only as we are not able to offer courier services to these locations.

4.6 Military Address Shipping

The shipment to military addresses is made using USPS. Hindustan Industries does not offer Military Address shipping using courier services.

4.7 Items Out Of Stock

In case an item is out of stock, we will remove that item from the cart and will refund the price of the same, and will dispatch the rest of the order.

4.8 Delivery Time Exceeded

If the estimated time for delivery has exceeded the time specified in the order, then please contact our customer care so that we can look into the concerned matter.

  1. Tracking Notifications

After dispatching of items, customers will receive a tracking link on their email ids through which they can track the progress of their shipment as provided by the shipping provider.

  1. Parcels Damaged In Transit

If you find a parcel damaged in transit,  please reject the parcel from the courier and contact our customer care service so that we can look into the concerned matter. If the status of your purchase is “Delivered” on the company website and you have not received the parcel, please contact the customer service of Hindustan Industries.

  1. Duties & Taxes

7.1 Sales Tax

Sales tax as prescribed by the current tax regime will always be added to the cost price of the goods.

7.2 Import Duties & Taxes

Import duties and taxes related to international shipments will be prepaid so customers do not have to pay any additional fees on the arrival in the destination country.

  1. Cancellations

We accept the cancellation of the order any time before it has been dispatched. If an order has already been dispatched, we will recommend you refer to our refund policy.

  1. Insurance

Parcels are insured for loss and damage up to the value as stated in the quotation.

9.1 Process for parcel damaged in-transit

We will initiate the refund or replacement process after the required investigation regarding the lost parcel.

  1. Packaging –

Our products are transmitted in recyclable, unbreakable hard cardboard boxes. They are very easy to handle and are not very heavy. Customers get an option of keeping the boxes or returning them but the same has to be specified beforehand in the order placement slip.

12.Shipping Restrictions

The delivery cannot be made to all geographical locations due to computing difficulties. If we are unable to ship items at a particular address, we will notify the same through email or call. Sometimes shipping restrictions are also associated with the specific product descriptions so do check the product descriptions for any item-specific shipping restrictions.
